The doctoral training unit Critics is highly interdisciplinary and collaborative, with all the PhD candidates expected to acquire a cross-disciplinary knowledge. Nevertheless, PhD projects are here grouped in “Theoretical projects” or “Experimental projects”, so you have to apply following one of this two links depending on which is the project of your interest. When applying, remember to specify in you motivation letter which supervisor (and thus which project) you are interested in.
For all the PhD positions within the Doctoral Training Unit Critics, full funding is available to cover the whole duration of the PhD program (ideally 3 years, up to a maximum of 4 years). The contract of each PhD candidate is initially for a period of 14 months, and it is renewed at the end of the first year. The PhD positions are full time and salaries are very competitive.
